You will work under limited supervision and alongside some of the world's most talented engineers. You will contribute to the development of Resideo's next generation Safety products by designing, testing and validating products/processes from prototype to market. You will be part of a group of highly committed professionals who provide expertise to ensure the success of complex engineering projects and programs. You will interact with internal and external customers in order to facilitate the completion of products to customer specifications. Use your electrical engineering knowledge by working on exciting products and processes serving customers globally. Refine and expand your engineering skills in a team-based culture by working with innovative products and technologies. Partner with various project teams to reach effective solutions to complex electrical engineering problems. JOB DUTIES:Plan and execute project tasksWork on both individual and team projects.Assist product and process certificationEnsure project and product compliancePresent to leadership and external customersConsult with vendors and suppliersCommunicate non-compliance incidentsEstablish and follow methodologiesPropose technical improvementsSuggest enhancements to advance projectsYOU MUST HAVE:2+ years in Electrical Engineer or related fieldProficient with schematic and PCB layout tools, Altium or equivalent.PCB board analysis and troubleshooting experience.WE VALUE:Understanding of electrical engineering standards and specificationsAble to complete assignments by applying electrical engineering methods and tools with individual work and team efforts.Ability to influence cross-functional teams to deliver optimal solutionsAbility to consistently make timely decisions and balancing systematic analysis with decisiveness in an ambiguous environmentClearly and concisely convey subtle or complex messages to a variety of audiencesCapability to follow guidelines and work with mentors to ensure efficiency in given project tasksWHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU:Resideo is a large matrix organization, so this is a great opportunity to hone your skills around driving results across cross-functional teams.Work in a Hybrid setting (3 days in office, 2 days remote)Enjoy work-life balance with generous vacation time that can be scheduled with manager approval based on business priorities and personal needs, without pre-set maximums.
