The Basics Location: Scott City, KS Compensation: $20/hr and up Days/Hours: This job will be 1st shift. Usual hours are 8:00am to 5:00pm Monday-Friday, with some OT, including weekends. Grain Elevator Operators will be cross-trained to perform a variety of tasks. Requirements to be successful in this position: Able to travel to Healy KS and Towner CO to assist with train loading and other projects, as needed High school diploma or GED Reliable transportation For safety reasons, must be able to read, write, understand and follow written and/or verbal instructions in English Available to work overtime and weekends Professional demeanor (safety conscious, quality of job performance, cleanliness, and verbal communications) Able to pass a criminal background check Here are some of the physical requirements for this role: This job can be physically strenuous You will be expected to be able to work in tight and confined spaces You will work at heights You will need the ability to frequently lift, push and pull up to 50 pounds and occasionally more This job will require the ability to ascend/descend ladders You will be required to wear PPE #J-18808-Ljbffr
