Summary:
A bit about us: We are a close-knit Seattle family with three energetic boys, ages 5, 3, and 1, looking for a dependable nanny to join our family year-round. Our afternoons are busy and active, and we're looking for someone who can help make the transition from school to home run smoothly. Our boys love Legos, trains and train tracks, magnet tiles, and plenty of playtime, while our youngest is newly mobile and loves to climb and explore! As a family, we enjoy cooking and eating together, spending time with our extended family, and going on walks. We're hoping to find someone local and well-established in Seattle who can become a consistent part of our weekly routine.

A bit about you: You are playful, sensible, energetic, and attentive, with the confidence to manage three young children at once. You're a self-starter who can keep everyone moving through the afternoon routine while still making time for fun and connection. Our youngest is an adventurous climber, so being quick on your feet and highly safety-conscious is especially important! You are warm but able to hold appropriate boundaries, stay consistent with routines, and calmly navigate typical toddler tantrums or sibling disagreements. Most importantly, you are a safe, reliable driver with a clean driving record, your own dependable vehicle, and experience caring for children in the Seattle area.

What You'll Do: Your afternoon will begin with picking up all three children from the same school and safely bringing them home. Once home, you'll offer a simple snack, help the children transition into their evening routine, oversee bath time, and engage them in play until their parents arrive home around dinner. If a parent is running late, you may occasionally help with bottle-feeding the youngest child. You'll provide active supervision, especially for the newly mobile 1-year-old, while keeping all three children safe, engaged, and on schedule. When time allows, you'll also help unload the dishwasher and place the children's lunch boxes into the dishwasher. "Text NANNY to 2 to apply and schedule your interview in under 3 minutes.

Start Date: As soon as the right fit nanny can start!
Schedule:

• Monday–Friday: 5:30 PM–7:30 PM
• Optional Additional Hours: We are open to extending one day each week for a date night, potentially bringing the schedule to approximately 15 hours per week

Pay: $35-45/hr

Position Highlights: Guaranteed hours. Consistent M-F schedule. PTO/Paid time off when the family is on vacation. Mileage reimbursement. All three children attend the same school for pickup. Option to add a weekly date-night shift for additional hours. Long-term outlook!

You'll be a great fit for this nanny job if you have:

• Prior childcare experience with young children
• Comfortable caring for three children, ages 1–5, simultaneously
• Experience managing toddler tantrums and sibling disagreements calmly and appropriately
• Energetic and able to keep up with active, mobile young children
• Valid driver's license and own reliable vehicle
• Safe driver with a clean driving record
• COVID vaccinated and generally up to date on immunizations
• Already established in the Seattle area
• Glowing references from recent nanny positions

Set yourself apart: You'll be an especially strong fit if you have experience managing multiple young children and can confidently keep a busy afternoon routine moving without needing a lot of direction. We would love someone who knows how to balance playful energy with sensible boundaries and isn't easily thrown off when three little ones need something at once. A nanny who is proactive, safety-minded, attentive, and comfortable maintaining routines while still creating a fun environment will thrive in this role.

Working Conditions and Requirements:

• Work environment will be active, kid-centric and includes clean up of activities
• Part of each day may be spent outside, weather permitting, and will be active play
• Essential Physical Requirements:
  • Position involves regular lifting, bending, squatting, reaching and pushing
  • Must be able to lift 35 pounds safely
  • Must be able to get up from and down to the floor numerous times throughout the day
  • Will need to be able to react quickly to certain situations
  • May need to react to emergent situations in a calm, effective and safe manner
